Srat Star Lifestyle Might not Make it... Literally

Well its been a long day here at the Kappa house.. from 12 to approximately 9:30 we were working on things pertaining to Rush... I've never wanted to wave my little white flag to the infamous Geed lifestyle as much as I did at points throughout today's events. But I'm going to attempt to be an optimist on the rush subject for the rest of this week. I know I've been quite the slacking blogster ever since my first blog so I figure I will catch the people who follow me (the few and the proud) up on the events of my ever so interesting life.
For the very first game we were graced by the presence of the never skinnier Ashleigh Smith. She is like an extremely thin wafer... if wafers had big boobs.. Missed her so much!

The ATO rave was also this weekend... felt a little old for this partay, but it was still a fun time.

My family also came in for the SIU game a few weekends back.
It was so much fun seeing them and I'm so glad that my fungus of a little brother got to witness the grove (and a tid bit of night life in Oxford) as did my parents. Lots of peeps thought we were twins...Dream on, Mink.

And then this weekend Jessica made the trek in... She can always cheer me up and I was so glad to see her, Although our lack of pics together might not demonstrate it; but we're too busy doing other cool stuff to catch it on film.. Not many people are willing to be designated historians these days, after all.

And then Katie and I found the most adorable dawg in the world. Always the suckers for precious wittle pups. His Name was Cooper. Isn't He the sweetest looking little boy?? Besides Fred of course.

This past weekend was a nice little way to end things before rush.. Hence, the title of this blog is foreshadowing my imminent ominous future in this sorority, and life as I know it. Not only is the week going to be tiring, but I got some narsty blisters this weekend; if only I could fix this problem by gellin' all week. On the other hand, we're all very excited for our new baby Kappas.
And I've made the unforgivable mistake of not telling everyone about my Hamster, Kevin, whom i purchased (along with all the hamster necessities) back during good ole rush workshop. The only sad part is that he is kind of suicidal. He gnaws on his cage all night, every night, and i fear he may detach his brain from his brain stem and then I'm going to have a hamster reminiscent of Helen Keller. But I'm going to hope for the best and hope one of his teeth will fall out (before the brain detachment) and he'll have learned his lesson in a semi-harsh way. I've also pondered drenching his wire caging with nail polish remover, but then I figured that would probably kill him and I'm not really wanting animal protective services on my back, unless I could pawn the murder off on Miss Mary...
Last But Not least, I'd like to give a shout out to Abigail White and her new life in Europe. I know it's beyond fab!!
Thats all for now BlogStars...I gotta make like a Ball and Bounce
Toodles,
Helainski
